Entries for the World Championship Shuffleboard have been pouring in over the past few months, and what stands out most is the large number of female participants. This is something we wholeheartedly welcome and celebrate.

Thanks to this overwhelming enthusiasm, we have decided to allow not 64 but no fewer than 128 ladies to progress to the second round 💥

What does this mean for the schedule?

This expansion means the match schedule will be adjusted, bringing the men’s and women’s programmes in line with one another.

A fantastic development that will bring even more energy, competition and enjoyment to the tournament. We are very much looking forward to it.
