What a night at Landgoed Zwartemeer. The semi-finals of the Teams World Championship 2026 have been played and the stage is set. Tomorrow, Saturday 16 May, we will find out who gets to call themselves world champions.
The semi-finals
The first semi-final was over almost before it began. Netherlands 1 were utterly dominant against France 1, winning convincingly by 43 points to 7. The second semi-final told a very different story: Sweden 1 edged out Germany 3 in a tightly contested battle, winning 29-21.

Tomorrow: the final
The final is confirmed. Tomorrow, Saturday 16 May at 16:20, Netherlands 1 and Sweden 1 go head-to-head for the highest honour in shuffleboard. Who will be crowned the winner of the Teams World Championship Shuffleboard 2026?
At the same time, France 1 and Germany 3 face off for the bronze medal. After the disappointment of the semi-finals, both sides will be determined to go home with a podium finish.
